May is Officially Declared as Mental Health Awareness Month in Bourbon County

To cap off Mental Health Awareness Month, Bourbon Community Hospital was proud to join members of our community in signing a proclamation officially recognizing May as Mental Health Awareness Month in Bourbon County. Directors from our hospital, alongside representatives from the Bourbon County Health Department, Paris-Bourbon County Chamber of Commerce, and local government, gathered at the historic courthouse in Paris to celebrate the progress our community continues to make in prioritizing mental wellness.

Mental Health Awareness Month serves as an important reminder to break the silence, reduce stigma, and encourage open conversations about mental health. At Bourbon Community Hospital, we are committed to being both a resource and a provider of care. Our on-site Behavioral Health unit offers treatment and clinical support for those facing mental health challenges.
