Jose Lopez, MD, General Surgeon, joins Paris General Surgery

(Paris, KY. – October 7, 2022) – Bourbon Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Jose Lopez, MD, to the medical staff as our newest General Surgeon. Dr. Lopez will join Paris General Surgery, expanding general surgery services throughout the community.

Lopez is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He offers inpatient and outpatient consultations, acute care surgery, colorectal surgery, gastrointestinal and minimally invasive surgery, minor procedures in office, surgical foreign body removal, surgical oncology, and hernia repair.

Dr. Lopez earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central Del Este in Dominican Republic and completed his general surgery residency and internship at Youngstown Hospital Association. Most recently he’s been employed at Reddy GI & Associates in Mesa, AZ.

Lopez joins our team of surgeons and offers a wide variety of procedures at Bourbon Community Hospital. Surgical services include gastroenterology, general surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and otolaryngology.
