Bourbon Community Hospital Contributes to Free Admission for Bourbon County Schools Students at Athletic Events
October 2, 2025

PARIS, Ky. (October 2, 2025) – Students at Bourbon County Schools can now attend home athletic events free of charge, thanks in part to a sponsorship that includes support from Bourbon Community Hospital. The initiative reflects a shared commitment from local partners to ensure that cost is never a barrier for students to take part in school traditions and cheer on their peers from the stands.
By joining with other community sponsors, this program is designed to encourage school spirit, increase student participation and make athletic events accessible to every student, regardless of financial circumstances.
“School athletics play a vital role in student development and community pride,” said Tommy Haggard, CEO of Bourbon Community Hospital. “We are honored to contribute to this effort so more students can cheer on their classmates, feel a stronger connection to their schools, and be part of these important community traditions.”
Superintendent of Bourbon County Schools, Dr. Larry Begley added, “We are grateful for the generosity of Bourbon Community Hospital and the other partners who are making this possible. Free admission opens the door for all students to experience the excitement of game nights, support their peers and be part of a united school community.”
Bourbon Community Hospital and Bourbon County Schools hope this initiative will build lasting school pride, enhance student experiences and continue to grow attendance and energy at Bourbon County home contests.
